MERCAN'TOUR CLASSIC ALPES-MARITIMES

the 2022 edition

Danish rider Jakob Fuglsang (IPT) wins the 2nd edition of the Mercan'Tour Classic Alpes-Maritimes after a great battle between his team Israel Premier Tech and Groupama FDJ. His teammate Mickaël Woods takes 2nd place ahead of David Gaudu (GFC). A very high level podium in a race where the World Tour teams have held their rank!

THE 2021 EDITION

The first edition, won by Guillaume Martin (Cofidis) will remain unforgettable. The race was held in very difficult weather conditions but finished in the sun of Valberg. It was full of emotions, especially during the passage in the Vésubie valley, which was still marked by the terrible stigmata of the storm Alex.

to you

The Mercan'Tour organization team has been working on a new route
following Storm Alex, which has severely impacted our territory. This
change of route was validated in consultation with the Maritime Alps
Departmental Council. Through their President Charles-Ange Ginesy,
they renewed their support for our event, which should have seen
the light of day last year. See the press release below for details.

Solidarity with the disaster victims of our valleys

The valleys of the Maritime Alps and the Mercantour were very hard
hit by the Alex storm. Today, the inhabitants of the affected villages
need all of us! You can help by taking part in the collection of
donations launched by the Departmental Council 06 in order to help
them. Everyone who loves our mountains, from here or elsewhere -
our villages need all our support to get back on their feet. As locals
who live in the region and are viscerally attached to it, our entire
team will support the Maritime Alps residents throughout the long
road to reconstruction that lies ahead. All united, all in solidarity!
