The Mercan'tour Classic Alpes-Maritimes 2022 will start from Puget-Théniers. This will be the big change compared to the 1st edition. The finish will still be judged in Valberg after a 167.9km course with 4200m of positive altitude difference crossing 4 valleys and 19 communes of the Mercantour and the Alpes-Maritimes.

It is from the former sub-prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes, the current headquarters of the Communauté de Communes Alpes d'Azur, that the 2nd edition of the Mercan'Tour Classic Alpes-Maritimes will start on May 31st. Located at the confluence of the Var and the Roudoule, Puget-Théniers and its 2000 inhabitants, member of the "small towns of tomorrow" network, is one of the dynamic and forward-looking towns of our High Country!
